The sustainability of the world’s resources is central to our beliefs. TRG was founded in 2005 by Managing Director Frank Miller, who began his career as an international forest auditor. Frank recognised that many businesses needed systematic and cost-effective support in achieving their sustainability and compliance commitments at product level. Frank is an acknowledged expert in timber due diligence.

Co-founder and Development Director Mike Farewell created our sector-leading software, TrackVision, which can be fully customised for the individual requirements of each client.

TRG has been accepted as an Associate Member of ResponsibleSteel. ResponsibleSteel is a not-for-profit organisation and the industry’s first global multi-stakeholder standard and certification initiative. The world’s largest materials industry, steel generates a turn over of 1 trillion US dollars and is 10 times larger than the aluminium industry, 7.5 times larger than the copper industry and 4 times that of the cement industry.

TRG is undertaking a supply chain mapping project on behalf of ResponsibleSteel, working closely with a founder member and international steel manufacturer – using TRG’s unique and specific approach – to map a range of constituent supply chains .

TRG has partnered with Ardea International (AI) to offer Force Labour Risk Assessment service to clients. AI is well established as international specialists in sustainability, business and human rights consultancy with expertise in modern slavery. AI have been working internationally supporting clients from SMEs to FTSE 50 companies to meet their legal compliance obligations and to develop best practice principles.
